cross stitch
I'm not finished with the cross stitch yet. When I first got it, I did it for ages, but now I keep taking long breaks between sessions. I'm not bored of it, it's just that there are so many things to do that I can't fit the time in. When I do do it though, I get a bit annoyed because on the instructions it says to do a row of half stitches and then go back and complete them, instead of just doing a row of full stitches. The intructions say to do it that way because it doesn't waste use up as much yarn.It annoys me because it is not as fast and satisfying.

Cross-stitch and model aeroplane
A few days ago, me and my sister went to a craft store called Hobbycraft. I really wanted to get a model aeroplane. I wanted to get the type that you assemble yourself and paint. So me and my sister got one each. I also got a cross-stitch.
Making the aeroplane proved more difficult than I had expeced. The pieces were tiny and it was hard to find them. Luckily, I soon got into the project and having lots of little pieces to keep an eye on stopped bothering me too much.
The cross stitch, on the other hand was alot easier than I had anticipated. The holes were quite big so I could pull the needle through without difficulty.
I am still doing these projects and I will do another post when it is finished
